Colored HubSpot (the “extension”) is a browser extension that changes the appearance of the HubSpot web app in your browser. This policy explains what data the extension does and does not handle.

The short version

The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers that receive your information. Everything it does happens locally in your browser.

What is stored, and where

Your appearance preferences — the accent colour, background, deal-card colours, the on/off state of the owner and key-factor colouring, and the colour-blind safe mode — are saved locally on your own device using the browser’s built-in chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your computer and is only used to apply your chosen look the next time you open HubSpot.

Your HubSpot data

The extension reads the page you are already viewing only to restyle it (for example, to colour a deal card by its owner or by the key-factor score band shown on the card). It does not copy, upload, or transmit your HubSpot deals, contacts, or any other content anywhere. It never modifies your HubSpot data — only how the page looks in your browser.

Permissions, and why

• Storage — to save your appearance preferences locally.
• Access to hubspot.com — the extension only runs on HubSpot, where it applies your styling.
• Access to ln2crm.com and the alarms permission — reserved for an optional future feature that would fetch theme updates and occasional product announcements from the developer. This is not active today, the extension makes no network requests, and no data is sent. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated before the feature ships, and only non-personal data (such as a random, anonymous installation identifier) would be involved.

Third parties

The extension itself does not use third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics providers, and does not load any third-party code or trackers into HubSpot.

The public website at coloredhubspot.ln2crm.com uses Google Analytics to count anonymous visits to the site. This is entirely separate from the extension — the extension does not load or talk to Google Analytics, and no data about your HubSpot use is sent.

Children

The extension is a workplace utility and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the new version will be posted on this page.
